Our Organization: The Synthetic Biology Club at UCF

Started in spring 2013 by Ryan George (c/o '13)

Goals

  • Promote collaboration among disciplines at UCF and strengthen the working relationship between academia and industry
  • Compete in iGEM, the annual International Genetic Engineering Machine competition
  • Host a biological hackerspace where anyone, regardless of their educational background, can work on their own project
